Welcome Back, Scholars, Parents, and Staff!

I am thrilled to kick off what promises to be a wonderful and productive school year at Jefferson! My name is Ms. Denise Bass, and I’m honored to serve as your building substitute teacher.

A little about me—I have a passion for reading and Black history, and I love bringing creativity to the classroom through fun craft projects with students. This year, I’ll be supporting teachers across Pre-K through 5th grade and stepping in for art, music, and P.E. classes when needed.

In a prior year, I had the pleasure of working in the Pre-K classroom, where I had an absolute blast with our early learners. I’m excited to continue spreading the message that “Jefferson is the Education Station!” With our passionate and highly trained educators, we are dedicated to partnering with our scholars and families for success.
