Jefferson Elementary School

Hello! My name is Ms. Erica Weathersby, and I am proud to serve as the Grace Hill Family Coordinator at Elementary. My role is to connect families with resources and support services to help build stability and success at home and in school.

I work closely with families to identify their unique needs and challenges, offering guidance and support in areas like housing, job training, healthcare, education, and more. By developing individualized family plans and navigating complex systems together, my mission is to empower families to overcome obstacles and achieve their goals.

Some of the ways I can assist include:

• Connecting families to local resources like food banks, shelters, job training programs, and healthcare services.
• Advocating for family needs with external agencies and service providers.
• Supporting parents with skills like budgeting, parenting strategies, and wellness.
• Partnering with the school and community organizations to ensure comprehensive care.

• I have a background in social work and have been serving families in the community for many years.
• I’m passionate about building strong relationships and helping families thrive.
• In my free time, I enjoy volunteering, exploring local community events, and connecting with others to make a difference.
