  • Hello! My name is Nurse Salmond, and I am honored to serve as the School Nurse at Jefferson Elementary. My primary role is to help ensure the health and well-being of all our students so they can feel their best and thrive in the classroom.

    Whether it’s providing first aid, managing chronic conditions, or promoting healthy habits, I’m here to support your child and keep our school community safe and healthy.

    How I Can Help:

    • Caring for students who feel sick or get injured at school.
    • Managing health plans for students with medical conditions like asthma, diabetes, or allergies.
    • Ensuring students’ immunizations and health records are up-to-date.
    • Providing education on healthy habits, such as handwashing, nutrition, and exercise.
    • Offering guidance and resources to families on health-related concerns.

    • I have many years of experience as a nurse and a passion for caring for children.
    • I believe that healthy students are happy learners and work hard to create a safe and welcoming space for all.
