    Welcome back, parents, scholars, and staff!

    I am thrilled to start what promises to be a fantastic school year. My name is Denise Bass, and I am proud to serve as the Special Education aide and building substitute for the 2024-2025 school year.

    This is my fifth year at Jefferson, and I have had the privilege of working with both Pre-K and 1st-grade students. I embrace challenges and enjoy working with different grade levels—it’s what keeps me inspired and energized!

    My passions include reading, social studies, Black history, and art. I can’t wait to share my knowledge and enthusiasm with our scholars, parents, and staff.

    I look forward to reconnecting with everyone and embarking on this journey together.
