Ellen Moceri

Educational Leader and Consultant

Ellen Moceri has held leadership positions at John Burroughs School, the American School of The Hague, and Horace Mann School. She visited the top 20 US boarding schools as part of her investigation of educational innovations for the Independent Schools Innovation Consortium. Ellen has been Head of School at Christ Church Episcopal School and at the American School Foundation in Mexico City. During her headship, Christ Church became the United States’ first K-12 International Baccalaureate school. She served as the Head of Ransom Everglades School from 2001- 2014 and was appointed to the Board of Directors of the SSAT and the Board of Trustees of the Southern Association of Independent Schools in 2013. Under her leadership, Ransom Everglades School received the NAIS Leading Edge Award in Equity and Justice. Ellen also received the Klingenstein Education Leadership Award for her support of the Summer Bridge Breakthrough program.
 
Moceri also teaches history and foreign policy at the Lifelong Learning Institute of Washington University.
 
Ellen Moceri is assisting Collegiate School with our capital fundraising campaign as well as college counseling.
