Edward Gricius

Associate Dean for Student Experience and Development at Barnes-Jewish College, Goldfarb School of Nursing

Edward Gricius became the Associate Dean for Student Experience and Development in 2022.  In his role, he oversees all outside-classroom support for students from the start of their program through graduation and beyond.  His direct areas of oversight are admissions, financial aid, academic advising, student engagement, registrar, disability services, and alumni engagement.

Mr. Gricius brings over 25 years of experience in higher education, supporting students along their collegiate journey.  Supporting wellness and intercultural initiatives, staff development and training as well as orientation and activities at Benedictine University, Marquette University, and Elmhurst College.  Just prior to joining Goldfarb School of Nursing Edward was the Assistant Dean of Student Affairs for the Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing at Loyola University Chicago supporting graduate and undergraduate students in the admission, progression, retention and completion of their nursing programs.

Edward holds a BS in psychology and MS in clinical psychology from Benedictine University and an MS in Information Systems and Data Analytics from Loyola University Chicago.
