Ms. Rachel Phillippe
Rachel has been playing music for over 20 years. She received her Bachelor of Arts in String music performance from the University of Arkansas in 2017 and completed her Master's in Music Education at Lindenwood University in 2020. Rachel started teaching academically at the age of 19 and continued to pursue her skills while opening her own private music studio where she teaches all ages the art of mastering and performing on musical instruments. Rachel has taught thousands of students in private and public school settings as well as chamber ensembles and orchestras.
Rachel is thrilled to be returning to Collegiate this year to continue working with students and their musical endeavors! The objective of her music class is to enrich the emotional, mental and physical wellbeing of students; imparting musicality and instrumental techniques, while teaching resilience, work ethic, patience, and the development of character; celebrating individuality in a safe and nurturing environment.
