I am a graduate of Chemistry and Secondary Eduacation from the University of Missouri St. Louis. This will be my 7th year of teaching at Collegiate as a science teacher. the reason I got into teaching was so I can help and encourage the following generations to pursue a career in science and engineering for they are the best topics in school! Chemistry is main science passion, it's a topic that challenges students to critically think using data analysis, mathematics and more! Plus you get to light things on fire within a safe learning environment.  

I love to travel and learn from all sorts of people from different walks of life. In 2017 I taught English in the Liaoning province of Fuxin, China. I had the privilege of teaching all grades in China, from elementary to high school. More recently I participated as a chaperone for an EF tour to Greece and Italy. Traveling forced me to learn how to communicate and understand with people from different cultures and these experiences helped me become the teacher I am today.
