I am excited to serve as your new Academic Instructional Coach (AIC) at Nance Elementary School. I started my journey at Saint Louis Public Schools in 2016 at Langston Middle School as a 6^th grade science teacher. From fall 2017- spring 2022 I served as a 5^th grade teacher at Ford Elementary and BKG Pamoja Preparatory. This is my first year serving at Nance as an AIC.

In 2006, I earned my undergraduate degree from Lincoln University-MO in Marketing, in 2015, I earned a Maters of Arts in Teaching, Elementary Education 1-6 and in 2021 I earned a Certificate in Special Reading K-12. My personal mission is to be a teacher leader and inspire teachers to use innovative ideas and technology to take students to the next level in a safe educational environment. My role is to support teachers through coaching, providing instructional resources and professional development to ensure Nance students have an excellent and meaningful learning experience. With that in mind, I am approaching Nance with high expectations and a willingness to learn.

When I am not at Nance, I like to cook, read, and travel. I also collect magnets.
