Hello Nance Families,
I'm Ms. Yolanda Douglas, your Social Worker here at Earl Nance Elementary. This year, I aim to ensure that every student's needs are being met and that they are doing well in their learning environment. I also want to ensure that every student attend school regularly and learns to the best of their ability. Regular school attendance is crucial for academic success, from pre-k through high school. Regardless of a student's age, families have a vital role in ensuring their children attend school every day, as it is essential for a successful school year.
We understand that absences happen, but frequent absences can cause students to fall behind. Please make sure your child attends school every day and arrives on time. I am here to assist families with any needs, so feel free to contact me.
