My name is Antony Perkins I am the Family and Community Specialist here at Roosevelt High School. I know these past few months have been trying times for us all and as we go into the 2020-2021 school year I want to assure you that our staff here at Roosevelt will do all that we can to assure we meet the needs of you as parents and students. This is new to us all and together we can work through this until we get back to our normal routine. A special welcome to our Freshmen parents and students lokking forward to meeting you all in the future

 

My  responsibilities include being instrumental in establishing programs to increase parent involvement, student attendance and developing strong relationships with parents, families, and the community. I will work collaboratively with team members to develop monthly opportunities for family support programs to assist families with health, nutrition, recreational, social support, and other programs or services. I will work with our principal to provide assistance to parents in understanding school/district/Title 1 policies and procedures as they relate to attendance, student behavior, and student progress.

 

I will establish close relationships with community agencies/groups to aid in obtaining needed services, professional workshops, and activities for parents and students. I will also work directly with the school and community groups to ensure that partnerships exist. i will keep the lines of communication open to allow myself to be available whenever there's a need. I am really excited to work with each and every parent and guardian to ensure that our students and families needs are met. Please feel free to reach out to me at anytime.
