Student Council at Busch Middle School of Character is a dedicated group of students from all grade levels committed to impacting positive change within our school and community.
Our main areas of focus are:
-Community service
-Encouraging school spirit
-Identifying and solving problems in the school
-Organizing social events
-Leading class meetings and giving students a voice
In addition to this work, students also learn the basic principles of leadership and have an opportunity to run for offices and serve on committees.
Some recent Student Council projects include:
-Writing holiday letters to soldiers serving overseas
-Organizing two successful fundraisers to raise money for our organization
-Coordinating an anti-bullying campaign in our school
-Producing a talent show
