Biography: My name is Mecca Hamm-Bey, and I am thrilled to be joining Gateway MST Middle School as the Girl's Physical Education and Health teacher for the upcoming academic year. I am passionate about physical activity, health, and wellness. I attended Cardinal Ritter College Prep where I played basketball, volleyball, and earned several state medals in track and field. I earned my degree in Exercise Science from the University of Missouri - St. Louis, and I am currently pursuing my Master's in Education from St. Louis University. This is my first year teaching, and I am eager to bring my enthusiasm and knowledge to our PE and Health classes. My primary goal this year is to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where all students can have fun while developing their physical skills, teamwork, and a lifelong appreciation for staying active.
