Biography: Born and raised in Saint Louis, Missouri, I received an associates degree from Saint Louis Community College, and quickly transferred to University of Missouri- Saint Louis where I received both a bachelor's degree in English and a master's degree in Secondary Education. This is my fifth year teaching in the field, as well as my fifth consecutive year here teaching at Gateway Middle School. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, writing, cooking, and listening to and playing music, as well as most outdoor activities with friends and loved ones.
