Teacher Message: "Behind every challenging behavior is a unresolved problem or lagging skill" Ross Greene

We believe in inclusion. Every child learns differently. I believe if our students don't learn how we teach, we should teach how our students learn. Here at Gateway, our teachers work as a team to make certain our students with special needs remain in the general educational system and receive any additional support to ensure they learn, participate, and are ultimately successful.

Biography:  I received a B.A in Business Administration with a minor in Psychology at the University of Central Missouri.  I received my M.A in Teaching specializing in Special Education at Webster University. This is my sixth year at Gateway. My goal is to provide trauma and data-informed instruction, to help students progress towards mastery of individualized skills and self-advocacy.
