About Coach Patterson

In addition to being the Athletic Director at Sumner High School, Coach Patterson is also a professional pianist/keyboardist who has played for greats such as Smokie Robinson, Patti LaBelle, Vivian Green & Rickey Smiley's comedy shows. He specializes in Jazz, Classical, R&B & Gospel music and has the ability to read and play musical pieces by ear. Coach Patterson looks forward to bringing his experiences, knowledge and fun ways to explore music and musical concepts to the classroom.
