I'm Ms. Mayra Santander, I am the JAG Specialist at Sumner High School. JAG- Jobs for America's Graduates is an organization that is geared to helping students learn their options after high school and guiding them to take steps for their future goals. JAG is a class where students learn more about themselves, develop leadership and professional skills that they can take with them after graduation; whether they decide to continue their education at a college or trade school, go straight into the workforce or enlist in the military. JAG is here to teach and guide students through their years of high school and after. 

I am a SLPS Alumni, from elementary to high school, born and raised in St. Louis. I am a first generation college student and completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Missouri- Columbia (MIZZOU). I went into education after I graduated from college because I have a passion for helping students achieve their goals.
