Hello Jefferson families, I am so excited about the new school year! This is my 4th year at Jefferson and 6th year with St. Louis Public Schools. During the 2021-2022 school year, I was honored as Kindergarten Educator of the Year Award from the district. A little background about me, I was born and raised in Belleville, Illinois but then moved to the Kansas City area to attend college at the University of Kansas (Rock Chalk). I received my Bachelor of Science in Education in Elementary Education and my Masters of Science in Education, Special Education Adaptive Curriculum.  While in Kansas City, I taught early childhood special education for 9.5 years. I am currently attending Webster University and working on my PHD.
