Ms. Taylor Jones, Eds - Assistant Principal

  • Welcome to Mullanphy Elementary School!

    My name is Taylor Jones, and I am honored to serve as the Assistant Principal of Mullanphy Elementary. My journey in education began with a deep passion for making education better than the one I received. I earned my undergraduate degree from DePauw University and continued my academic journey at the University of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL), where I received both my Master’s in Secondary Education and my Educational Specialist degree.

    Before joining Mullanphy, I had the privilege of working with Teach for America, where I was driven by the desire to create meaningful change in our schools. My experiences also included being mentor for St. Louis Teacher Residency program and being an instructional coach. These roles have deepened my commitment to using data-driven decisions to foster student success and teacher collaboration.

    For me, the most rewarding aspect of education is witnessing the growth of our students and seeing our teachers work together to support that growth. I believe that school should be a place where every child feels seen, heard, and part of something greater. That’s why I am dedicated to making our school environment as fun and nurturing as possible.

    I look forward to working with our amazing community to ensure that every student at Mullanphy Elementary has the opportunity to thrive.
