• The School  Counselor :

     

     -Teaches Classroom Guidance and Social Skills Instruction

     -Provides Crisis Counseling and short term Individual and Group Counseling

     -Consults with parents, teachers and staff regarding students’ needs

     -Organizes and coordinates the Student Intervention Team process for students who  are in possible need of special assistance

     -Provides referrals to students and family members to appropriate community resources

     -Coordinates Peer Mediation, in-school community counseling, mentoring programs, violence and bully prevention educational programs

     - Is always available if you have any questions or concerns regarding your child.
