Hello! My name is Gerold Watson and I am the School Social Worker at Gateway Elementary.  I graduated from Saint Louis University with my Master's in Social Work in 2015 and have worked at SLPS for 9 years.  I know that many of our students face struggles that can make learning difficult, so my goal is to help them build the social and emotional skills they need in order to face and overcome those challenges.  I provide mental health support through mentoring, counseling, group work, skill building, and I provide resources to students as well as their families.  Please contact me or check out the General Resources page if you have any questions or concerns or would like help with something.  You can access the SLPS Parent Portal here.
