My name is Angela Phillips.  I serve as the Counselor for Gateway Elementary.   I attended Wayne State University two years before serving my country in the Navy.   Earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a emphasis of marketing and management from Columbia.  I attended Missouri Baptist University earning a dual degree in school counseling and professional counseling program, graduating in 2004 with a Master of Science in Education Counseling. I have worked with SLPS middle, highschool and currently elementary students.

I am an advocate for all students and serve as a resource for their success in education. I know this is a stressful period for our parents and students, but I am looking forward to working and finishing this school year out strong.  I am available Monday through Friday 8:00am-3:00pm.  My contact information is 314-666-0604.
