Welcome to Room 238 my name is Ms Hayes. It is my pleasure to be your child's teacher. This is my 3rd year at Gateway Elementary MST and my 16th year with SLPS. I am very eager to be a part of your child's educational journey. My educational journey began at St. Louis Community College where I received an AAS in Early Care and Education. I continued my educational journey at Fontbonne University where I received a BS in General Studies with a minor in ECE, Masters of Mangement in Business, and Master's of Art in Teaching (MAT) in Special Edcation with a certification K-12. 

Please note that our day begins at 7:45 with breakfast and academics begins at 8:15. We have variety of learning styles and I have a variety of teaching styles. Please feel free to contact me via email, text, or by calling the school and leaving a message.
