Mr. Perry Anselman
Central Visual and Performing Arts High School. : Where Arts and Academics Share Center Stage. How true this is and what an exciting place to work. The combination of both dedicated staff and focused students makes CVPA one of the best schools in the Saint Louis area. As a career educator and professional musician I truly look forward to going to work to be surrounded by such talented young student/artists. The vibe is contagious and a visit to a performance will leave you with that feeling of beauty and magic that the Arts bring to this world. By all means, join us Center Stage.
As an administrator it is important to build a strong rapport with all of the stakeholders. I pride myself in building positive relationships. I have frequent interaction with students in the classroom, halls, cafeteria, theatre, busses, concerts and am present at other school related events. I return phone calls, respond to e-mails and welcome meeting with parents. I have served as an administrative mentor and seek the input of staff as part of team building.
I am a City of Saint Louis resident and work where I play. I am a professional musician actively engaged in the music scene in Saint Louis. I play church gigs, serve as a trumpet teacher/coach for Broadway Musicals at local high schools, play with Saint Louis University Billiken Pep Band, and sit in with bands around town.
