Hello and welcome to my page!  This is my 29th year teaching in the SLPS District and my 8th year at CVPA.  I received my teaching degree at Fontbonne University and I also have a Master's in Education from Southwest Baptist University and a degree in Administration from Maryville University.

I got my start teaching at Roosevelt High School and moved on to teach at Cleveland JROTC, then Gateway STEM before landing at CVPA.  Each school offered me so much experience and left me with lasting memories and has made me the teacher I am today. In the afternoons, I also tutor elementary students in the district after-school program and I enjoy that time immensely.

In my spare time, I spend time with my family and my puggle, Milo.  I love water and would be in a pool or the ocean all day, every day, if I could.  I also enjoy streaming movies and real crime shows. I am looking forward to the new school year, and I cannot wait to see what 2024-2025 brings for our CVPA family.

    Sincerely,

    Ms. Kristal Riehn
