Buder Elementary School

 

Welcome to the 2024-2025 Buder Family!

 

My name is Dr. Rachel Kayser. I am excited to work with your students and watch their growth throughout this school year. Although this is my first year joining the Buder Elementary family, this is my tenth year with Saint Louis Public Schools and my 15^th year in education. I have two bachelor's degrees from the University of Missouri-St. Louis in history and secondary education. I have a master's degree in special reading from Lindenwood University and a master's degree in educational administration from Maryville University. I completed my doctorate in Teacher Leadership from Maryville University in 2022. What can I say...I love learning!!!

 

I've taught students in grades Pre-K through sixth grade for the past fifteen years. I've also worked as an instructional coach and a reading teacher. My passion for early childhood education keeps pulling me back to working with Pre-K students.

 

When I'm not at Buder Elementary, my life revolves around my family. My family includes my husband and my two wonderful children, Amelia-10 and Miles-8. They are my pride and joy. I also have two dogs, two cats, one fish, and about 30 plants. I enjoy reading novels, relaxing, and spending time with family and friends.
