Ms. Beede received her Bachelor of Music Education degree from Murray St. University, Murray KY. She moved to St. Louis in 1998 and has been teaching for St. Louis Public Schools since 2000. In November of 2011, she was named Elementary Music Teacher of the Year in SLPS, and in May of 2012, she was named Teacher of the Year in SLPS. With over 15 years as an elementary music teacher, Ms. Beede specializes in creating interactive lessons and producing mini-musicals with her students. When she's not planning concerts, making Prezi's for class, teaching, or on recess duty, Beede can be found marble hunting, making pottery, or hanging out with her Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, Fiver.
