I am thrilled to be part of the Eagle family at Jefferson Elementary School. I have taught in the district for many years and I have taught every grade from 1st to 6th. More importantly, I am lucky enough to teach the best grade ever! We are going to have a fun year filled with lots of learning and new adventures. 

This year, we will be working on reading fluency and comprehension as well as reading for information, such as finding the main idea, making inferences, using supporting evidence, drawing conclusions, and using context clues to determine the meaning of words. We will also work on counting money, telling time, and number fluency and computation by adding and subtracting 2-digit numbers up to 100.

My scholars are the best and try their hardest. I am here to support my Eagles through it all. Jefferson second grade scholars will soar high!
