• NAIA Eligibility

Every student interested in playing sports at NAIA colleges for the first time needs to register online with the NAIA Eligibility Center and receive an eligible determination. This applies to high school seniors and transfers from both two- and four-year colleges.

Register with the NAIA Eligibility Center at PlayNAIA.org.

    NAIA Eligibility Center Early Decisions

High school students who have a 2.5 GPA or higher and meet the NAIA test score requirement can receive a Senior mid-year early decision. They will need to have their transcript sent in, complete with grades through the midway point of their senior year.

    New ACT/SAT Score Requirements

Effective May 1, 2019, a freshman must have an ACT score of 18 or an SAT score of 970 to use a test score as part of initial eligibility. The requirement is based on the date the test is taken.

     This means:

    • Any test taken on or before April 30, 2019 requires an ACT score of 16 and SAT score of 860.
    • Any test taken May 1, 2019 or later requires an ACT score of 18 and SAT score of 970.
