Courses: Creative Writing

I began my collegiate career at St. Louis Community College- Forest Park, in 2018 I obtained my Associate in Arts in General Transfer Studies. I then transferred to the University of Missouri- St. Louis.

While at UMSL, I began my journey ineducation with a work-study job as a tutor in the SLPS district with the E. Desmond Lee Regional Institute of Tutorial Education. I had the opportunity to study French abroad in 2019 in Strasbourg, France, with the French Department at UMSL. When I returned from France, E. Desmond Lee Tutorial Services appointed me as a Writing Coach, and I worked in conjunction with the SLU TRIO Program in the SLPS.

I served as the Editor-in-Chief of the undergraduate literary magazine at UMSL-- LITMAG while also serving on the Business Operations Committee. I graduated from UMSL in May of 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in English, a Creative Writing Certificate, and a Professional Writing Certificate.

In May of 2022, I completed my Master of Art in Teaching at Saint Louis University. This wonderful MAT program at SLU allowed me to teach for SLPS while learning to teach. 

I am currently pursuing my Ed.D in Educational Leadership at Saint Louis University.
