What should I expect in this course?
AP Calculus AB This course provides an introduction to differential and integral calculus. Topics include limits, derivatives, related rates, Newton's method, the Mean-Value Theorem, Max-Min problems, the integral, the Fundamental Theorem of Integral Calculus, areas, volumes, and average values. The first semester of the course generally covers differential calculus, while the second semester covers integral calculus.
AP Precalculus The course framework for AP Precalculus is partitioned into four units. Units 1, 2, and 3 are required and assessed on the end-of-course AP Exam and provide descriptions of what students should know and be able to do to qualify for college credit or placement. Unit 4 describes additional topics that teachers may include based on state or local requirements. The Unit 4 topics extend and deepen the function concepts developed in units one through three. The Unit 4 topics are additional and excluded from the AP Exam. Unit 1 covers Polynomial and Rational Functions. Unit 2 covers Exponential and Logarithmic Functions. Unit 3 covers Trigonometric and Polar Functions. Unit 4 covers Functions involving Parameters, Vectors, and Matrices.

Office Hours/Tutoring
Tutoring will be offered on Tuesdays after school from 3:40–5:20 PM. Tutoring will be held in Mr. Sabor's classroom (room 133). Student attendees will be capped at 10–15 students per session. Sign-ups will occur in person with Mr. Sabor.
Office hours and tutoring may be scheduled on an "as needs" basis. The most likely time for office hours will be after school from 3:30 - 4 PM or during mentor period. Please have your student email me or ask me in class if they need to schedule office hours or tutoring time.
