• Internships, College Credit and Certifications
     
     
    Internship Opportunities:
     
         Students will be on a health career related work site the second semester of their senior year.  The following businesses are where students are currently interning:

                                     Gateway Micheal Middle School
                                     SLU Hospital
                                     St. Louis University Hospital
                                     BJC Hospitals
                                     Rehabilitation Institute of St. Louis
                                     Paraquad/Logan Chiroptactic University
                                     St. Marys Hospital
                                     Wal Green's Pharmacy
                                     St. Louis ARC
                                     Orthopedic & Sports Physical Therapy, Inc.
     
                                     Year to year chiropractic offices, other physical therapy clinics and other health institutions may also be involved.
     
     
    College Articulations:
     
       Students can earn 3 credit hours of college credit in medical terminology through St. Louis Community College.  There is no cost but students must meet specific GPA requirements and fill out the proper applications.
     
     
    Certifications:
     
       Students will have the opportunity to earn their CPR certification card through the American Heart Association
       Students can earn an OSHA 10 certification recognized in HealthCare Institutions.
