Hello Mann Family! This is my tenth year at Mann and my 25th year of teaching. I am one of three ESOL teachers at our school and this year I am co-teaching in third and fifth grades. 

I earned a B.Sc in Cognitive Science from the University of Toronto, a bachelor of Education from the University of Windsor, a Masters of Education from the University of St. Joseph, an endorsement in Special Education for the Learning Disabled from OISE, and lastly, an endorsement in ESOL from the University of Missouri. Additional certifications in SIOP, co teaching and LETRS were attained through SLPS professional development.

Born in Toronto, Canada, I have lived in four different states since immigrating to the USA with my husband, David. We have two children.  Heather, a college graduate from The University of Missouri Science and Technology, who is now working for Union Pacific Railway in Omaha, Nebraska. Davis is also an S&T graduate working locally for RSM. Outside of education, my passions are scuba diving, hockey, hiking, singing and my adorable cats Liza and Sebastian. My teaching passion is language development. The integration of reading, writing, speaking and listening is the focus of all my lessons.
