Mrs. Tracey Stanton

Greetings Mason PreK Families,

Hello.  My name is Tracey Stanton and I am your child’s preschool teacher at Mason School of Academic and Cultural Literacy.  I am so excited to have your child in my classroom this year.   I earned my Masters in Education at Maryville University and my undergrad in Early Childhood at Fontbonne University.

I thought that you might like to know a little bit about me since I will be working with your child. I am married and have 3 children and will be a grandma in October for the first time! Natalie teaches 5th grade, Sean is a Merchandiser and Michael is a Real Estate agent.  I was born and raised in St. Louis and love our city!   I have over 25 years of experience in the field of Early Education.  This is my sixth full year at Mason teaching PreK.  In addition to teaching at Mason, I am a consultant trainer for the Center of Excellence conducting social emotional training for early childhood teachers and staff across Missouri.  Prior to joining the Mason team, I worked as a Specialist for four years supporting early childhood educators in their classrooms.  In addition, I spent 15 years as adjunct college faculty teaching various courses in Early Childhood Education and served as a University Supervisor at Webster University for 5 years, working with PreService Teachers.  My passion for education started at a very young age.  I recall being in elementary school and knew I wanted to be a teacher!

We are excited to implement the SBG Curriculum along with the Three Cheers ELA & Math program and Nature Revealed to support our Science standards.  Our class will utilize Second Step social emotional curriculum for Early Learners.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.  The best way to contact me is through email. I will respond on weekdays within 24 hours.

Your Partner in Education,

Tracey Stanton, MA
