My name is Kelly Peters, and I am excited about joining the ESOL team for the 2024-2025 school year! I graduated from the University of Missouri, Columbia, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. My teaching career began at Mason in 2012 as a first-grade teacher and MU Fellow. The MU Fellows program provides first year teachers with a full-time mentor and the opportunity to obtain a Master’s degree in Curriculum Studies. 

I am currently attending Webster University, working towards my second master’s degree in ESOL. This program has been incredibly enriching and beneficial. I am eager to co-teach and work with small groups, applying the new strategies I have learned through my graduate studies.

I have been a part of the Mason community for the past thirteen years and have loved every single minute of it!
