I am excited to join Collegiate this year to teach American Government and AP U.S. History.  Prior to Collegiate, I taught for 11 years at Dexter High School in southeast Missouri.  I am a proud Hoosier, graduating from Indiana University with a BA in History and continued on to become a teacher with my MAT at Webster University.  I will celebrate my 18^th year in education at Collegiate this year!

Growing up, I lived in several different states before my family landed in St. Louis as I started high school, and where I now consider home.  Travel brings me opportunities to learn more about our history, but I do enjoy spending time with my family and friends.  I have enjoyed meeting my fellow Collegiate staff and students!  Here’s to a great year!
