I am so happy that you are taking a bit of your time to read this about me.  My name is Pat Batson, born in Aberdeen, South Dakota.  I am one of nine children and our hometown has always been Morton, Illinois.  I graduated from High School in 1973.  I did my undergraduate work at VanderCook College of Music, Chicago, Illinois.  I graduated in 1977 with a Bachelors in Music Education.  I have taught in several school districts, both in Illinois and Missouri.  I have been a High and Middle School Band and Choir Director, Flag squad and Pom Pon Advisor, as well as various other responsibilities.   I began teaching here at Hodgen 13 years ago and have loved every minute.  Great families and great kids!

I have many varied interests, that include: fishing, watching baseball and football/ Go Cardinals and Go Bears.  I do enjoy taking long walks, especially in the early morning.
