Hi.  My name is Mrs. Sally Katana, I am a special education teacher at Hodgen Tech.  This is my 18th year in the district.  My nineteenth year as a teacher.  I specialize in teaching students with Autism.  I have many hats that I wear:  Mother, teacher, advocate, daughter, friend, and I do my best in all of them. 

 

I was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri.  I have never left (even for college).  I am an avid Cardinals fan!  I can follow a football game.  I attend one Billiken basketball game a year.  Go Bills! I will always like Michael Jordan.   I have a one son who is 22.  He keeps me busy.  I love the zoo, I have 2 African Clawed frogs,  3 leopard geckos, a turtle, a pac-man frog and a dog, named Shaggy.  I enjoy baking, camping, traveling, scrapbooking, and taking pictures.  I look forward to getting to know you too.  I cannot wait to see what this year brings.  I hope you are as excited about learning as much as I am.  I look forward to teaching you.  We will do our best to have a great year!  I am so excited about being with you this year.  If you need anything, please email, call me, or use Class Dojo.  Have a great day and get ready for a great year!
