  • Hello! My name is Josie Johnston, and I am the AP Human Geography (dual credit) and World History teacher, History & Language Department Chair, as well as the Speech & Debate head coach here at CSMB. I earned a Bachelor's in 5-12 grade Social Studies & English Language Arts from Webster University; earning academic honors, departmental honors, & graduated Magna Cum Laude. I also have a Master's in Teaching English as a Second Language at Webster University and a Master's in Human Geography at UMSL. I have taught social studies for 16 years and ELA for 2 years. I have coached speech & debate for 15 years. 

    I grew up just south of Kansas City, Mo (Go Chiefs!) on our family farm and moved to St. Louis 16 years ago. I love teaching at CSMB and look forward to serving the students here for many years to come.
