About the Teacher:
I am originally from Kansas City. I moved to St. Louis to return to teaching in an urban district and now I'm happy to serve the community of Miller Career Academy. I teach 9th grade U.S. History. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, MO. I received my graduate degree from the American University in Cairo, Egypt, where I studied the Middle East Region. I then earned my teaching certificate at the University of Missouri Kansas City. This is my third year at Miller Career Academy. Previously I taught for 8 years in the K.C. area. I am happy to see students return to the classroom after the Covid pandemic and look forward to an enriching and safe school year.
