• Dream Center

Dave and Joyce were very moved by the outreach efforts of the Los Angeles Dream Center so they brought it to the hurting people in their own city of St. Louis. With the help of David and Shelly Meyer and a handful of committed volunteers, they planted the St. Louis Dream Center right in the heart of North St. Louis, an inner-city area that was known for high crime, drugs, and gang activity.

Our first outreach, Adopt-A-Block, began as volunteers hit the streets of North St. Louis each Saturday ready with rakes, lawnmowers, trash bags, and gifts. They cleaned up the neighborhood and served the people. But most importantly, they built lasting relationships with their neighbors.

Today, the St. Louis Dream Center is a thriving, multi-cultural, urban church of over 700 people changing the face of the St. Louis Metropolitan area.

Every week we reach out to thousands of people through our Street MinistryAdopt-A-BlockNursing Home MinistryKidzJamand more. We invite you to join us and see firsthand the wonderful work in the St. Louis community.

The Dream Center provides incentives for both staff and students at Ashland.  They provide assemblies and small groups on character education.  They also provide entertainment for school activities and meals after school
