Ms. Sample
Hello!
The 2025-2026 school year marks my nineteenth year at Woerner Elementary. After seven years of teaching grades Kindergarten through fifth as a Special Education teacher in the Self-Contained Cross Categorical homeroom and as a Special Education Resource Teacher, I transitioned into teaching general education. As a general education teacher, I've taught third grade, first grade, and Kindergarten. The 2025-26 school year is my tenth year teaching traditional Kindergarten.
I received my Bachelor of Arts and Master of Education degrees from University of Missouri-St. Louis. I love to travel; Ireland and Italy are my favorite destinations. My favorite pastime is watching the St. Louis Cardinals and the St. Louis Blues. Before becoming a teacher, I worked as a child abuse and neglect social worker and supervisor for the State of Missouri for several years.
Woerner Elementary is a wonderfully supportive environment for all students and I am thrilled to be part of this dedicated team of teachers and service providers!
If you have any questions, please email me at angela.sample@slps.org. This is the best way to reach me. This is the time when I'm most likely available to read and answer emails/ return phone calls. You may also message me on our ClassDojo.com page.
