Hi Everyone! Welcome to ESOL at Woerner. The purpose of this page is to keep parents and students informed about current events, provide language access for families, and seek additional resources within the district.
I have been a teacher with St. Louis Public Schools for many years. This is my sixth year teaching ESOL at Woerner. There are so many great things about each and every one of my students. One of the best assets to Woerner is its DIVERSITY. Each student brings his or her own knowledge and experiences to school. It is my job to provide students with an opportunity to use their funds of knowledge to learn! I have high expectations for student participation, achievement, and growth. I know that each and every one of my students can and will succeed when provided a safe and caring environment, meaningful learning opportunities, effort, and FUN! My husband, Steve, and I have two children, David and Nico. We love playing outside, building Legos, and spending time with family.
