Welcome to Woerner Principal's Corner

Hello! My name is Ms. Kathy Matthews, and I am the principal here at Woerner School. I have been working at Woerner since 2010, first as an Academic Instructional Coach, then as Assistant Principal, and now as Principal. Woerner School is a neighborhood elementary school that serves students in preschool through 5^th grade. The staff at Woerner School is committed to ensuring the success of all of our students both academically and socially. We have strong academic and character education programs that help develop the whole child. Woerner is a top choice for many families in our surrounding neighborhood. We recently received both the Missouri State School of Character Award and the coveted National School of Character Award.
