Hello, and welcome to Froebel Literacy Academy! My name is Zachary Udell (Mr. Udell) and I am a 4th Grade teacher here. When I was in 4th Grade, I lived in Morristown, Tennessee, where I attended Manley Elementary. After that year, my family moved northwards to Indiana, where I lived until I finished high school. After high school, I attended Indiana University at South Bend, where I majored in Anthropology and minored in German and History.

I have always had a love for learning, seeing, and doing new things. I have had the opportunity to travel to wonderful places like the Almafi Coast in Italy to the cobbled streets of Prague. 5 years ago I decided to travel (and move!) to yet another important and great place; St. Louis, Missouri.

After moving to St Louis, I attended Webster University, where I obtained my Master's Degree in Elementary Education.

I cannot get enough of this city; from its rich history in this country, to its enthusiastic sports environment, to the natural wonders in this area, such as the Mississippi and Missouri rivers.

I am proud to live in this city where I am now serving the community as a teacher.

As a teacher, I strongly believe in achieving one's goals, effectively communicating with others, working collaboratively, and, especially now, becoming fluent in the necessary tools to succeed in all areas of life.
