Welcome Sigel Families!

My name is Ms. Laura Owca and I am honored to be the Principal of Sigel Elementary School! 

Prior to joining Sigel, I was the Assistant Principal at Mullanphy-Botanical Garden ILC. Before entering into administration, I taught middle school language arts and served as an instructional coach for 6th-12th grades, all content areas. I've also led and consulted professional development for teachers.

Over a decade of service to learners from ages of three to adulthood has afforded me the necessary vision to lay a strong foundation for Sigel Elementary Scholar's long-term success. I believe all children have the capacity to one day change the world! At Sigel, we will work hard to uncover Scholar's natural talents, provide rich academic challenge, and create unique pathways to achievement.
