Sigel Elementary School

Welcome to the Sigel Elementary School Website

The Franz Sigel Elementary Community Education Center was named in honor of General Franz Sigel, a prominent Civil War officer from Missouri. Sigel has been functioning as an elementary school since its construction in 1905. The attendance area is bounded by I-44 to the north, California to the west, Gravois to the South, and 18th Street to the east. Sigel enrolls approximately 230 students in grades preschool - 6th grade. 100% of our students receive free and reduced lunch and qualify for Title I services.

Sigel Elementary enjoys a committed staff, curious students, and collaborative parents.
