My name is Bernarda Phillips. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Harris Stowe State University. I also a hold Master's of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Management from Lindenwood University. In May of 2023, I will earn my Master's in Elementary Education. My passion is teaching!!! I have two sons, Terrell and Terrann, who are both adults. I also have 8 stepchildren. I live with my 13-year-old grandson and I also have 23 other grandchildren. They are my greatest gifts in life.

It is my absolute pleasure to teach 5th grade this year. I am excited about our return to the classroom full time. I am willing to give it my all but I need each you to grab my hand and take the journey with me. EDUCATION IS THE KEY THAT WILL OPEN UP MANY DOORS TO YOUR FUTURE SUCCESS!!
