My name is Ruthanne Long. I have been a Registered Nurse since 1977. I earned a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from DePauw University in Greencastle IN. Since 1987, I have been a school nurse with SLPS. I have been the nurse at Hickey since 1991.  I am always glad to talk to staff and parents about any special /medical needs of the children, to help them succeed in school. I will answer any questions based on my knowledge and expertise. If I do not know the answers to questions, I will research the questions in a timely fashion..
