Philosophy of Education
I believe that students deserve to learn in a safe, fair, and comfortable environment where they can be fully engaged in the learning process. As an educator, I will provide active learning opportunities and differentiate my instruction to meet the needs of each child in my classroom. I believe in having high expectations for my students, as well as for myself. I believe in building positive relationships with students and families, and I want my students to develop a love for school that will motivate them to become life-long learners.

Personal Statement
I have been teaching in the St. Louis Public School District for eight years. I have taught kindergarten, first, second, and fourth grade. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, crafts, being in nature, and face painting.
